Why I became an intuitive healer. I already had a full life: family and work I loved!
When I was young, I had not the slightest intention of becoming an intuitive healer.
After attending Stanford University, I became the mother of three (not all at once!) and worked in the film industry. It included all my lifelong loves: writing, acting, music, story-telling, and, eventually directing.
For more than 25 years I was a screenwriter/director/producer, winning more than 40 awards in international film festivals. And I wrote two short films nominated for Academy Awards.
I loved every minute of it! Even the minutes I hated!
Until I was disabled
It ended when my dual diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis and Environmental Illness were finally disabling. I’d struggled with both from my teens (undiagnosed until much later). Then I was told they were incurable. I decided my best course was to enjoy my life to the maximum for as long as I could.
During a year of recovering from an MS attack, I wrote a screenplay at home in the morning. By afternoon I researched the world by phone (this was before the internet) looking for just one person who’d healed themselves of Multiple Sclerosis.
I was sure that if it had been done once, I could do it. But if it was truly impossible, I’d be on a fool’s errand and wasting my time to try. Better to enjoy my family and my work with what energy I had. I found no one.
Through the years I’d tried scores of healing modalities, conventional and alternative, without success.
Disability and Chronic Illness Can Be a Calling
My complete disability was a wake-up call. Enjoying my family took energy I didn’t have anymore. My career in film was necessarily over. I began a probably obsessive search for the means to self-heal. I could no longer afford to accept that it was impossible. I quit my search for anyone else who’d done it and went inside myself to find the means to do it myself. No matter what.
Determined to Heal
My tools were intuition, intention, and the same creativity and determination that had fueled my film career.
I spent 6,000 hours (just to get started) studying energy and how it manifests in health and in dis-ease. ( In the 15 years of my practice, I estimate my research, both intuitive and scientific, at 30,000 hours.)
I mentored with an experienced British intuitive/healer and did thousands of hours of research, both intuitive and medical. I tested my accuracy at all times, and my understanding of healing on my own body.
For a year I experienced the “bliss” state often reported by those undergoing deep transformation. It was a time of Grace. Healing concepts came faster than I could absorb them. I received channeled information about how the body/mind and spirit create dis-ease. I come to understand how they can be harnessed to create health.
Over time, I healed myself of both my “incurable” illnesses. Since 2002 I have been an extraordinarily effective physical/emotional intuitive offering the same to thousands of English-speaking people around the world.
Like me, many have tried other healing modalities without success or have been told their illnesses are incurable.
I work closely with health care professionals and see many as clients as well. We work by phone and Skype, so distance is not an obstacle. I have clients from all over North America as well as the United Kingdom, Europe and Australia.
In the words of one client/professional colleague:
“As a scientist and a naturopathic physician, I always approach healing modalities with open-minded skepticism. I find your work to be exceptionally well researched, impeccably professional, and most importantly, highly accurate and effective.
From my own direct experience, I have felt physical and emotional symptoms begin to change within minutes after your clearing, and proceed to resolve completely within the timeframe that you predicted.
With the many patients I have referred to you, I have seen your work access the root of a problem without exhaustive and expensive lab work, and either clear it directly, or confirm the results of my own treatments. I am so thrilled and blessed to have you as a resource in my personal and professional life! Thank-you!”
